Job Description

We are looking for a skilled MuleSoft Integration Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-performing API-led integrations connecting our Salesforce ecosystem with core business systems, databases, and third-party SaaS applications. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of API development, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal data flow across our enterprise architecture.


Required Skills

Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and building integrations on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. Salesforce Knowledge: Hands-on experience integrating with Salesforce platforms (REST/SOAP APIs, Streaming API, Bulk API 2.0). DataWeave Mastery: Deep proficiency in writing complex DataWeave transformations. Core Tech Stack: Solid understanding of Java, XML, JSON, RAML/OAS (OpenAPI Specifications), HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and web services. Security & Auth: Practical knowledge of integration security patterns, including OAuth 2.0, SAML, Mutual TLS (mTLS), and API key policies. Database & Messaging: Experience with SQL/SOQL, relational databases, and messaging systems (Anypoint MQ, Kafka, or JMS).


Responsibilities

API & Integration Engineering: Design, develop, test, and deploy API-led integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Studio, Exchange, API Manager, Runtime Manager). Salesforce Ecosystem Connectivity: Build robust, real-time, and batch integrations connecting Salesforce (Sales/Service/Experience Cloud) with internal systems and external APIs via MuleSoft Salesforce Connectors, Pub/Sub API, and REST/SOAP APIs. Architecture & Best Practices: Implement API-led connectivity frameworks (System, Process, and Experience API layers) and ensure alignment with enterprise security and governance standards. Data Mapping & Transformation: Write complex DataWeave 2.0 transformations to process XML, JSON, CSV, and custom payload formats efficiently. DevOps & CI/CD: Maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated integration deployment using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions alongside Maven. Performance & Monitoring: Monitor integration health, analyze API telemetry, troubleshoot runtime errors, and optimize code for maximum throughput and low latency. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Salesforce Admins/Developers, Business Analysts, and Enterprise Architects to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specs.
